Delete your account

You can delete your Back2Back Australia account, and the data associated with it, at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

Open the Back2Back Australia app.
Go to your Profile → Settings.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately.

Option 2 — By email

If you can't access the app, email support@back2backaustralia.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll action the request within a reasonable period.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted we remove your personal information, including your profile (username, photo, bio), your listings, your saved/liked items, your alerts, and any mobile phone number you verified. If you signed in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, that connection is removed with the account and we no longer hold the details that provider sent us. Messages you sent may remain visible to the other participant, but your personal data is removed or anonymised as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may retain a limited amount of data where we are required to for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons, and only for as long as necessary. See our Privacy Policy for details on retention.

Back2Back Australia is free to use, and deleting your account does not incur any charge.
